What is Transitional Support Services (TSS)?
Griffin Centre provides transitional treatment and supports to assist adults with a dual diagnosis (i.e. developmental disability and mental health challenges) and their families to transition successfully into increased independence in the community.
Who can access?
- Adults who are 16 years and older
- Have a developmental disability or a dual diagnosis (developmental disability and serious mental health challenges) and a range of other issues or challenges (i.e., in conflict with the law, immigration, housing, etc.)
- Live in the City of Toronto

Griffin Community Support Network (GCSN)
Griffin Community Support Network (GCSN) provides time-limited crisis and transitional support which include specialized assessments, consultation and/or treatment, short-term case management services, residential safe beds and day programming options for adults 16 years and over with a developmental disability or a dual diagnosis (developmental disability and complex mental health challenges).
Who can access?
- Adults 16 years and older with a dual diagnosis
(developmental disability and complex mental health challenges)
- Have mental health challenges or a developmental disability with mental health challenges (dual diagnosis)

Day Treatment Program, including the STEP Program
A multi faceted consumer centred program for adults with a developmental disability or a dual diagnosis (developmental disability and mental health challenges) focused on developing academic, community, social and life skills to help them transition successfully into increased independence in the community.

Justice Service
Services that identify and support mental health challenges of adults with developmental disabilities in, or at risk of becoming, involved with the criminal justice system.
Who can access?
- Adults 16 years of age and older
- Have been identified as having a developmental disability and/or suspected mental health challenges
- Have current, past, or may be at risk of becoming involved with the criminal justice system

Respite Services
A recreation based program available throughout the year to offer families a break in caring for their adult son or daughter with a developmental disability with or without mental health challenges through evening skill development programs.
Who can access?
- For adults 18 years and older
- Have a developmental disability including a dual diagnosis (developmental disability and complex mental health challenges)
- Living at home and require additional support and supervision to participate in community-based settings

Diversity Service
This program identifies and assists adults with mental health challenges and developmental disabilities from diverse ethno racial backgrounds who have difficulty accessing services due to barriers related to language, culture or religion.
Who can access?
- Adults 16 years of age and older
- Have been identified as having a developmental disability and/or suspected mental health challenges
- Encountered difficulties accessing service due to barriers related to language, culture or religion
