All employees, students and volunteers who come into contact with your confidential file are required to sign an oath of confidentiality. We are all obligated to keep information private and locked away. We do keep a record of service provided but information is not released to anyone without your written consent. However, we are obligated by law to do so if you or others are at risk of being physically, sexually and/or emotionally harmed or abused. We also must respond to requests from the court for information and provide required information to our funders and accreditation bodies to meet requirements for licensing, service provision and service standards.
